Hey y'all, I was wondering if there are any plans for a fresh preservation type server? I'm assuming no and can understand why but I just figured I'd ask.

I like this idea because I feel like there was not an opportunity for new users to get rare event drops. They should re drop christmas crackers, masks, etc again on preservation. been trying to buy a mask for a week for 1.2 mill. Does not remind me of Runescape when I could buy one for 30k at any moment in time.

I would play that so hard. I would make so many videos. It would bring people out of the woodwork. Only do this if you are prepared for a massive influx of people.

Edit: And if something like that were to launch. There would be a massive fight against bots I bet.

No, I don't believe this is something we would do. People would ask for a new fresh server all the time, and if we had like a seasonal server that reset monthly for example (which wouldn't be authentic, which goes against the point of RSC Preservation) then people would ask for a new fresh server that doesn't reset, etc and the process repeats.

Maybe some day, if we deserved it, we could do a league.

It might be a good idea to have rares drop every 5-10 years just so it's not completely out of the question for new players. I really like how Lost City is planning to drop their rares. It will be available to anyone, but also very rare.
